Centres

ADSF was started in 1981 by a few women who wanted to join forces and offer spiritual and philosophical education and training to young girls from the neighbourhoods of Rosemont. These women purchased a residence that is now known as L’Essor.

Most ADSF activities take place (or are organized from) the following two centres in Montreal:

Centre l'Essor

IMG

L’Essor is situated in Rosemont district. Its activities are for girls from 12 to 16 years old.

L’Essor plays a complementary role between family life and school life. Parental collaboration is essential to the work and success of L’Essor Centre. Young people are encouraged to use their talents, to develop initiative, and to have a generous spirit of service in their home, at school, with their family and with their friends.

Since 1981, L’Essor has been offering a range of yearly activities aimed at giving girls the tools needed to tap into and develop their full potential. Spiritual enrichment is also offered.

In addition, ADSF sponsors activities in different neighbourhoods of the greater Montreal area. In Laval and in the West Island, youth clubs for girls help them develop their character and personality to the full, based on Christian values. The clubs are available for girls aged 8 to 12, and are held twice a month during the school year.

These clubs are not activities of ADSF corporation and have no legal connection to ADSF corporation. They are initiatives of groups of parents who organize and run them.  ADSF corporation will consequently not be liable or held responsible for any damages sustained by any person in connection with these clubs.
